There a multiple places in ShootQ to send an email to a client. You can send one either from a job or contact.

  • Job - Either click Add > Send Email or navigate to the Contacts & Emails section of a job to and click Send Email

  • Contact - Either click Add New > Send Email on a contact's profile or navigate to the Emails tab and select Send Email.

  • From the + menu at the top right corner of your account you can send a quick email.

Sending an email from ShootQ is similar to most other email programs. The recipient will automatically default the primary contact. You can remove this person if necessary or add other people. ShootQ will give you a suggested list of contacts to add or you can simply type their email addresses. Click the arrow icon to add recipients to the CC and BCC fields.

You can then select one of your pre-made email templates. Or you can add the subject line and compose the body of the email manually.

The toolbar will help you format your text (i.e. font color, size, bold, italicized, etc).

  • Hyperlinks - Highlight the text in the body of the email that you would like to turn into a link. Then click the Hyperlink icon in the toolbar and add your URL.

  • Images - Position your cursor where you would like to insert an image into the body of the email. Then click the image icon in the toolbar. Add its URL into the appropriate field or upload from your computer and then designate its size.

  • Attachments - To add attachments to the email, click the 'Add Attachments' link in the toolbar and select your file(s). The total attachment limit is 10mb.

Click the "Send Email" button and your email will be sent to the client. It will appear in their inbox like any other email with Subject, Date, and your Studio Name. When a client replies to the email, their response will be sent to ShootQ and get logged with the contact profile and/or job. It will also be sent to the studio's email address.
