Managing your schedule across multiple platforms can be a challenge, but syncing your ShootQ calendar with your favorite tools like Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Microsoft Outlook makes it seamless. By integrating these platforms, you ensure your events, bookings, and reminders are always up to date, no matter which device or service you use. This guide will walk you through the process of connecting ShootQ to these popular calendar services, so you can streamline your workflow and stay organized with ease.
Connect your ShootQ Calendar to your External Calendars
Navigate to Settings > Calendar And Email Settings > Click the New Calendar Feed button.
Name your calendar and choose how far back you want the events to be added. The dropdown lets you determine how far back you want to export your jobs and events from ShootQ. Your options are, From Now, (this will show only events scheduled from today on), 1 month or 2 months, showing events as far back as 2 months ago.
Next, you can set filters for your calendar feed to determine which events will appear on the Google Calendar. You can filter by Job, Event Type, specific Personnel in your studio, and Important Dates from of your contacts.
Click Save. Next copy the link and add the URL to your external calendar.
Connect your External Calendar to your ShootQ Calendar
To connect a Google Calendar use the Google Calendar button and follow the steps.
To connect any other external calendar, click the All Other Calendars button.
Give your Calendar a name, paste the URL from your external calendar in the box, choose a color you want that calendar to show up as and click save.
You will have the option to factor external calendars with event availabilities.
Navigate to your main calendar page and you will now see the external calendar on your ShootQ Calendar. You can check the boxes to turn the view on and off.
