ShootQ is compatible with a number of payment gateways including Authorize.net, Braintree, PayPal Pro, Stripe, and Square. When your account is directly integrated with your gateway, your clients will be able to make credit card payments on their ShootQ invoices. The merchant will charge the card and also mark the invoices as  paid for you.

To get started, navigate to the website of the merchant account of your choice and set up an account with them. Your merchant account will provide you with credentials that you can then use to sync up your ShootQ account.

You can add these credentials in ShootQ under Settings > Payments, Invoices, & Taxes > Collection Types. Just click the appropriate gateway to add your credentials. After adding your credentials we highly recommend you click "Run A Test Transaction" to make sure your accounts are synced.

Below are specific instructions for each merchant type.

Authorize.net

When adding an Authorize.net account, you will see two fields that require information entered. This is information that you will need to get from Authorize.net, but this article on the Authorize.net site should help you find your API Login ID and Transaction Key. Authorize.net integration will work for US, Canadian, Australian, and New Zealand dollars; the currency can be designated in your authorize.net account admin panel.

PLEASE NOTE: When entering your Transaction Key, do NOT copy and paste the key into ShootQ. Type your Transaction Key to avoid errors like "TEST MODE".

Braintree

When adding a Braintree account, you will see three fields that require information entered. This is information that you will need to get from Braintree, but this article on the Braintree website should help you find your API Login ID and Transaction Key. Braintree will work for US and Canadian dollars; the currency can be designated in your Braintree account admin panel.

PayPal Payments Pro

When choosing PayPal Pro, you will see four fields that require information to be entered. This is the same information that you use to log into https://manager.paypal.com. Also, make sure you specify the currency  (US, Canadian, or Australian dollars). This is the information that you will need to get from PayPal.

Also, you may need to adjust your PayPal manager settings. See this help article for full instructions.

Square

Integrating your Square account is slightly different than the other payment gateways. For Square, instead of entering credentials, you simply click "Authorize" and log into your Square account where you need to accept the permissions requested by ShootQ. Once you accept the permissions, your accounts will be synced.

Stripe

When adding a Stripe account, you will see fields that require your Stripe API Keys. This is information that you will need to get from Stripe, but this article located on Stripe's support page should help you locate your API Keys. You will also need to define the currency - US, Canadian, or Australian dollars.

When you have your merchant account integrated into ShootQ you will then be able to choose it as a payment method when creating either a proposal or an invoice.

NOTE: Some merchant accounts have a minimum of $.50 - $1.00 per transaction. There are also some banks that have a minimum purchase amount of at least $1.00 as well.  Please check with your merchant for specific minimum payment amounts.
